Home to the US Coast Guard, a commercial fishing fleet, a recreational fishing fleet and a marina, the Oceanside Harbor and Harbor Village is a paradise for the water enthusiast. The harbor also offers a boardwalk with several restaurants, shops and a luxurious hotel. The annual "Harbor Days" festival is held here in September where visitors flock for food, crafts, entertainment and boat races. Located adjacent to Camp Pendleton Marine Corp, the beach area has fire pits, picnic, sand volleyball and children's play area.
